Chris Chapman

Chris is Chief Financial Officer at Library House. Before Library House Chris worked as Finance Director for the Corporate Solutions Division of Astron, an RR Donnelley business. Chris's role encompassed all financial activities, internal controls and Commercial matters from pricing strategy to negotiation of customer specific terms and conditions.

Prior to joining Astron Chris spent 2 years as European Finance Director and 3 years as Global Financial Controller for the Telecomms Division of GE Network Solutions and NASDAQ listed Smallworld. Smallworld was acquired by General Electric in a trade sale in 2000. Chris was instrumental in the success of the Smallworld Telecomms business; he drove both organic growth and acquisitions and in later years played a significant role in the integration of Smallworld into GE.

Prior to Smallworld Chris spent 5 years with Anglia Railways and GB Railways, essentially reshaping Finance and Accounting processes to enable the business to manage in the post-Privatisation rail industry. Previously Chris spent 7 years with Lotus Cars, from Trainee Accountant to Senior Project Accountant. Chris worked primarily in the Lotus Engineering Division, one of the world’s premier automotive consultancies.

Chris is a fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and spends any spare time he has either with his wife and twin boys or on the golf course.
